Through our unique and tailored services, our team provides the best possible care and support to our participants.

We know participants thrive when they have a strong connection with their support workers.

That’s why we offer support worker profiles on our website. Participants can choose their preferred worker based on shared interests and personalities. This allows our participants to scope out our team before contacting us.

For example, if you’re a music enthusiast, we would add this to your profile.

We want our participants to feel confident approaching us, knowing they will receive support from someone they are comfortable with.

Everything we do is driven and inspired by our purpose to support steps towards independence.

Why work with us?

As a valued member of our team, you will play an important role by providing excellent care and support and building meaningful connections with our participants.

We strive to create a supportive and inclusive work environment where our team can grow and thrive.

Gayan, one of our support workers, loves helping, meeting people, and learning all about their goals and needs.

“Supporting Moo was my very first place to start my career as a support worker, and I feel like I am part of something bigger. I work with a great team of clients and staff – everyone really works together.”

“My wife was working as a support worker when we first moved to Darwin. Hearing my wife’s stories about all the people she meets made me believe that I would be good at this job too. One of our friends was working at Supporting Moo at the time and they suggested that I apply here, which I am very glad I did.”

Our values

We only employ people who embody our values of:

  • Integrity
  • Kindness
  • Tolerance
  • Understanding
  • Innovation
  • Providing a safe space
  • Flexibility.

We select our staff based on their interest and commitment to working with children and young people with disabilities, and their personal values.

We firmly believe that a good attitude and temperament outweigh a list of qualifications.

How do I join the team?

We’re actively growing our local staffing pool to provide even better support to our participants.

If you are ready to take the next step in your career and make a positive impact in your community, we would love to hear from you.
